Through a partnership with The Energy Foundation, The BCC is working to fill a void within climate advocacy and close the information gap concerning environmental injustice by providing a way for progressive clergy leaders to obtain public policy resources and gain the tools, access, education, and guidance, needed to mobilize their congregations, as well as nonwhite communities, around an issue where so many are deeply impacted. It is our hope, that through these educational efforts, we can lay a foundation of confidence to create vocal advocates around climate change, environmental racism, and clean energy through Black churches.
