Shannon Williams served as the first Executive Director of the Black Church Center for Justice and Equality and the Director of Advocacy, Policy, and Youth Programs for The Urban League of Philadelphia, a Civil Rights organization focused on advocating for political equality and economic justice for African Americans. In her role, she is responsible for developing campaigns designed to push progressive legislation through the state of Pennsylvania, as well as nationally.
